The Newcastle University Summer Business Football League

It was in 2002 when The University of Newcastle started its 11-a-side Football Business League, which is fully affiliated to the NFA. Since then the competion has grown from originally 10 businesses to 18 businesses competing. Playing in two groups of 9 teams in the summer months (May to August), the competition is divided into two leagues. The top 4 teams of each league can qualify for the knockout champions league games while the bottom 4 teams go on to participate in the conference shield. HansWurst is proud to be represented by our own team and we wish them all the success.

On Wednesday 7th of May, 2008, the HansWurst Team will have their first match.
